Walt Disney:
Walt Disneys full name was Walter Elias Disney. Walt was born December 5, 1901 in Hermosa, Chicago, Illinois, USA to Elias Disney and Flora Call Disney. He passed away on December 15, 1966 at the age of 65 in Burbank, California, USA due to lung cancer. His body was placed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California, USA. Walt was a film producer, the co-founder of the "Walt Disney Productions".
Walt Disney had four siblings, one girl and three brothers adding up to five children in total. Walt's family moved to Marcelline, Missouri after his mother departed from the hospital after giving birth he lived most of his childhood their and in Kansas City. When Walt was young he was intrigued in art and he would sell his drawing to his neighbors to earn money on his own. Walt went to McKinley High School in Chicago and chased his dreams to be in the art world by studying art and photography. Walt was then interested in wildlife, and all nature, which was basically because of his rural living. Walt was later encouraged by his mother and brother to chase after his amazing talents even though there budget was low and his father didn't really approve.His father was pretty serious.
During World War, Walt lied about his age to join the American Red Cross. At the time Walt was only 16 . He was then sent over seas to France. There he spent a year driving an ambulance and Red Cross officials. Then when Walt came back he began chasing after his commercial artist dream. Walt then received a scholarship from Kansas City Art Institute. At Kansas City Art Institute Walt met Ub Iwerks which became his instant best friend. Ub Iwerks and Walt began to work together and then decided to built a company that was named "Newmans Laugh-O-Grams" but sadly it didn't work out right and the outcome was that it ended up bankrupt.
